Barcelona to Barcelona Airport (BCN): how to make this journey
Heading out to El Prat, the decision is different from arriving: the metro is cheap but L9 Sud does not start in the centre, so you have to get to it first, and the Aerobús splits by terminal — A1 goes to T1, A2 to T2, and boarding the wrong one costs you the transfer between them. Check your terminal on your boarding pass before you choose.

Pickup
- Aerobús A1 sets down at T1 departures level 3; A2 serves T2B and T2C [4]
At the airport / station
- Ordinary single tickets and T-casual are not valid at Aeroport T1 and Aeroport T2; the €5.90 Airport ticket is a separate fare [3]
The booking on this page suits you if
- An early flight, when you would rather not depend on the first metro of the day
- Groups, or anyone with luggage that makes two interchanges unappealing
- Staying outside the centre, where neither the Aerobús nor L9 Sud starts near you
Consider something else if
- You are already near Plaça Catalunya and know your terminal — the Aerobús is direct
- You are near an L9 Sud interchange and travelling light

Check Available Options
BookShuttles.com does not operate these transfers. We compare listings from third-party operators; booking is completed on Viator, and we may earn a commission from bookings made through the links on this page at no extra cost to you. How this works.
Prices and ratings below are not live. They are a copy of Viator’s listings last refreshed on 2026-02-16, kept here so you can compare options. Follow any listing through to Viator for the current price and availability before you book.
Check the direction on the listing before you book. Some of the transfers below are sold for both directions, and some are listed as Barcelona Airport (BCN) to Barcelona rather than Barcelona to Barcelona Airport (BCN). Open any listing on Viator and confirm the pickup and drop-off points are the way round you need. We do not operate these transfers and cannot check them for you.
On this page, 1 of 5 listings are titled Barcelona Airport (BCN) to Barcelona — for example “Private Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Barcelona City”.

Before you book
Good to know
- Who you are booking with. BookShuttles.com compares transfer listings; the ride is operated by a third-party company and the booking is completed on the provider’s site.
- What varies by listing. Vehicle and group size, luggage allowance, pickup and drop-off points, child seats, accessibility, and the cancellation window are set by each operator and shown on the individual listing — check them there before paying.
- Prices and journey times. Live prices come from the provider. Where this page states a journey time or distance it names the source it came from and the date it was checked; where it does not, we have not verified one and deliberately show nothing.
