About Mui Ne
Mui Ne is a beach resort town famous for its dramatic red and white sand dunes — a mini Sahara landscape unique in Vietnam. The red dunes glow at sunrise and sunset, while the towering white dunes offer sand-sledding and quad biking. The Fairy Stream, a shallow red-and-white canyon stream, and the colorful fishing village with its fleet of traditional round basket boats (thung chai) add character. Mui Ne is Vietnam's kite surfing and windsurfing capital, with consistent winds from October to March attracting riders worldwide. Fresh seafood, laid-back beach bars, and proximity to the Phan Thiet fish sauce factories round out the experience.
